Official Announcement: Project Mundus Novus

Milestone September 26, 2026 (updated September 28, 2026) · AXEN1 Team

Dear Contributors and Supporters,

Thank you for standing with us. Today we want to share a decision that changes where AXEN1 goes from here — and be straight with you about what it means for you.

The playing field just changed — in our favor

The FCC's recent restrictions (DOC-423682A1) require fresh compliance certification for non-US-manufactured robotic products. For Canadian-made products, the path to FCC approval is clear and achievable — which is exactly why building in Canada makes sense.

Overnight, the old playbook stopped working for everyone who depended on it. We choose to see it for what it is: a window. Whoever builds the compliant path first wins the next decade. So today we are officially launching Project Mundus Novus — moving the manufacturing and compliance certification of all our robotic products to North America, and expanding across North America and Europe.

Canada is where we execute now: our team, our supply chain, our certification work starts here. And we are clear-eyed about the endgame — the United States is the largest market, and if timing and conditions align, landing Mundus Novus manufacturing in the US is the ideal outcome.

This is the harder path. North America's robotics supply chain is thin and the uncertainties are real. We've completed the feasibility study and we have a step-by-step plan — a 12-to-18-month program in four phases, published below so you can follow our progress and be part of the journey.

What this means for you

First, thank you — truly. Your support is what brought us here, and we don't take a single bit of it for granted.

AXEN1 snow-clearing robot: our model was not on the FCC's pre-certified list, and the timeline makes certification by end of 2026 impossible. You deserve honesty before optimism.

For 1+1 bundle customers who have paid in full — two options, your call:

Either way: every robotic mower already delivered in a 1+1 bundle is yours to keep — no returns needed — and our buyback program remains open where applicable.

The roadmap — walk it with us

We'll post an update at every phase — progress or setbacks, no varnish.

Two concrete asks

  1. Supply-chain partners: we're qualifying North American partners for local assembly — including AI/RTK/LiDAR modules, on-site firmware flashing, local algorithm compilation, full-unit testing, and more. If you manufacture in North America, or can introduce us, we want to talk.
  2. Investor introductions: if you know investors focused on manufacturing or deep tech, please reach out to us at info@axen1.com.

Every comment shapes where we go next. Thank you for building this new world with us.
